The toolings, which are situated in the cutting area, are the supports on which the parts to cut are placed.
They are composed of
the part counter-form made of : a laminate, aluminium plates, or a combination of both the structure supporting the tooling the base for ‘connection’ on the machine, acting as interface to pilot the toolings functions.
The toolings can be reproduced from :
the CAD data the master model, mock-up… the part itself.
Different solutions insure the good maintaining of the part on the tooling
vacuum pockets, vacuum systems, suction pads, clamps, or combined solutions.

Tooling change for rapid production change
The tooling change is realized through quick power connections and precise indexing of the toolings on the machine. It includes automatic recognation of the program. A specific handling cart allows this tooling change, and can also be used for storage.
